A Thankful 2011

2011 is passing so fast. These past few days, I was reflecting about the things that my family has been through. There are sad moments but I was counting more on the blessings that we have received for the past 12 months.

There are so many things I have to thankful for, countless blessings and miracles.
1.       My husband who is very patient and understanding with my tantrums (oh yes!). Who is always there for me when no one seems to believe in me.
2.       My daughter who makes me smile when I’m lonely and who makes me cry sometimes because of her tantrums, the reflection of my life.
3.       My parents who’s been supportive.
4.       My work at home that makes me more productive and creative.
5.       My online business in which I am able to gain new friends.

This year is one of the most productive year for me and the craziest too. I hope the coming year can be as productive as 2011. It can be crazier, but I am happy to face the New Year because I have my family by my side.

Avoiding Home Based Job Scams

It took me a year to convince my husband that it would be best if I just work at home. This way I can look after our daughter who was only one year old then and at the same time save money from paying a maid or a nanny. He was skeptical about this new way of earning money. Since online scams are rampant on the internet. He was scared I was not going to be paid or my credit card will be compromised by identity thieves, etc.
When he finally said yes, I did everything possible to prove to him that I can really earn money and I can avoid online scams.
I researched thoroughly about which companies and job databases I should trust. I relied on other's reviews and testimonials. One of these companies that earned my trust was Aside from my online researches, I also asked my friends and former colleagues who tried and working via At least three references from people you know can help you decide.

Celebrating Empowered Women

The flourishing of home-based jobs and online business makes me amazed as to how women are working today. Momprenenuers and work at home moms are the most adaptable individuals of all. We are women who endeavor anything that could produce us with extra profit or big time, legal jobs of course. Many are running numerous business, home-based jobs while raising the family. They say women are more adaptive and can do multi-task in which I strongly agree. Women in our age are more empowered and more ambitious.

How my online business started

Today I have shared with you my secrets to success in online selling. Among of you who read it might have other tips in mind. In relation to this post, I would like to share with you how my online selling business started and what are the ways I did in order to make it happen.

I didn’t have a capital to start my business. I researched online on how to start an online selling business with no or less capital. I learned about drop shipping. This is a technique in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer or a wholesaler, who then ships the goods directly to the customer.

The Secrets of my Online Selling Business

Although I don’t have much work to do today on my projects via I am still motivated because I got a lot of orders from my online store, I sell different baby products online. The market is great because every moms particularly first time moms are so eager and excited to shop for their little ones. Multiplyis a social shopping destination for every online shoppers worldwide.

Reasons Women Start Working at Home

Staying at home with your family can be a 360 degree turn from the usual set up you are used to. A lot of women who start working at home have full-fledged with same dilemmas like you.

It is a great sacrifice you can make giving up your traditional job, but there are a lot of choices you can make if you are willing to do so.  The first step I made and considered before I stepped in to this so called “wahm world” was to be able tofocus on my daughter. I need to stay at home to be 100% available when she needs a mom, especially when emergency arises. When I did this, I started to rethink, what else I should do other than taking care of her. When she’s asleep, when she’s not having a tantrums, during lazy moments, what are the things I can do to be more productive. That is where I discovered my WAHM business.

Affordable yet Memorable Christmas

Making a memorable Christmas doesn’t have to be lavish. Here are some things I have done lately in preparation for Christmas.

Bargain Hunting

This Christmas, buying in exclusive boutiques or department stores for clothes and gifts are not wise. Giving gifts to everyone special to you doesn’t have to be expensive and let you wonder where you have spent your 13th month pay or savings. Of course, you wouldn’t want to be empty after the holiday season. As I always believe, we should save in time for rainy seasons.

When mom is busy, her child becomes messy....

I was browsing some old photos of my daughter when I saw this one from her folder.

This was 2 months ago, I think. I was busy working and sending emails to clients when she entered in my room with her crayons.  She was quiet then and I was clueless what was on her mind.
